Effective August 25, 2026 · Hold, a product of Kenwood Company LLC, Milwaukee, WI
When you use Hold — our market reports, rent intelligence, or operator tools — we collect what you give us: your email address, property addresses you submit, documents you upload (such as inspection reports or rent rolls), and, if you opt in to text messaging, your mobile number. We also collect standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) needed to run the service.
To deliver the reports and services you request, to email you the results you asked for, to maintain the market benchmarks that power those reports, and to operate and secure the product. Data you contribute to benchmarks is aggregated and anonymized — a benchmark never exposes an individual unit, owner, or rent attributable to you.
If you opt in to receive text messages from Hold, message frequency varies by your activity; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Opt-out is honored automatically and permanently, with one narrow exception: if you send a message reporting an emergency, Hold replies once to tell you to call 911 if the situation is life-threatening. That reply is treated as an emergency message and is sent even to an opted-out number, because leaving an emergency report unanswered is the greater harm. No other message is sent after you opt out. Hold is not an emergency service — see our Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except as required to deliver the messages themselves (our SMS carrier) or as required by law.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers required to run Hold (hosting, email delivery, SMS transport), each bound to use it solely to provide their service, and when the law requires it.
We keep your data while your account or report links remain active. You can request deletion of your personal data, or a copy of it, by emailing us. Aggregated, anonymized benchmark data is not personal data and may be retained.
